This photograph was taken near the Wadden Sea village of Wierum last Sunday.
The weather in Dokkum was dreary and a few miles driving to the coast and it was sunny and warm.
As a region to live in, we are blessed with an incredible change of landscape. The coast, the woods and the islands, all within the hour. To me it is as close to paradise as one can get.
